Loro Piana Spring/Summer 2027: The New Collection Presented in Milan

During Milan Fashion Week, Loro Piana presented its Spring/Summer 2027 collection in one of the city’s most historically significant locations, the Bibliotheca Nazionale Braidense inside Palazzo di Brera. The Maison, part of the LVMH group, chose the library as the setting for its collection presentation, connecting its new creations with the house’s longstanding knowledge and heritage.
In the Maria Teresa room, the new collection was presented within the surroundings of a historic library. Bags and accessories were displayed on library ladders, while original sketches of some of the house’s most recognisable designs connected the new pieces with Loro Piana’s established design heritage.

Particular attention was drawn to Loro Piana’s Grande Unita scarves. Displayed in cases like precious objects, each scarf was accompanied by a poem telling the story behind its creation. In this way, the presentation focused not only on the finished pieces but also on the ideas behind them.
The collection was also conceived as an answer to different needs throughout the season. Among the pieces presented were summer pea coats, braided raffia lace-ups, Bermuda shorts, saharienne jackets and Guayabera styles, while tweed jackets brought an academic character to the collection and hunting jackets introduced a sense of adventure. Bomber jackets, chambray shirts, shortened sleeves and open layers further expanded the wardrobe, adapting it to changing weather conditions.

A strong emphasis was placed on functionality, an idea that runs throughout the collection. Loro Piana presented a wide selection of shirts, jackets and trousers designed for different conditions, from cooler temperatures to warmer days and from windy weather to light rain. In this way, the Solutions For collection directly reflects the idea that each garment should provide a considered response to a specific need.
The men’s collection continues the same approach through contemporary interpretations of classic pieces crafted from noble materials and presented in understated tones. The offering includes a camel blazer, balmacaan coat, trench coat and safari jacket, with each piece combining refined aesthetics with a strong sense of functionality.

The presentation continued in the historic Sala Lettura, where visitors could explore the fabrics and finishes used throughout the collection and gain a closer understanding of Loro Piana’s savoir-faire. The experience also included the art of screen printing and the process behind the creation of the Maison’s signature prints.
By choosing the Bibliotheca Nazionale Braidense, Loro Piana placed its collection among books, history and knowledge. The setting further highlighted the connection between the garments and the expertise behind them, presenting the pieces as creations designed for life in motion rather than for a single season.
