CMA Promotions presents a summer tour full of soul, funk & jazz energy

Summer 2025 is shaping up to be an unforgettable celebration of music without borders, as CMA Promotions unveils a vibrant tour packed with soul, funk, jazz, and more. This series of live events promises top-tier performances by internationally acclaimed artists, legendary venues, and exciting new releases that will energize audiences across Europe.

The tour kicks off on June 7th in Amsterdam, where Philip Lassiter brings his dynamic Soul Church show to the renowned Red Light Jazz Festival. Joined by soul vocalist Mirza Soul Shadow and G.O.C., both members of the Soul Shadows band, the night promises an electrifying mix of jazz, neo-soul, funk, powerful vocals, and even a dash of hip hop.

June continues in Zagreb as well, at the iconic Peti Kupe venue, with fresh sessions of the Apple Jam project. Launched two years ago in collaboration with Jack Daniel’s, Apple Jam has grown into one of the region’s most exciting and genre-fluid urban music platforms, blending live performances and DJ sets to create an immersive sonic experience.

From Zagreb, the spotlight moves to the legendary Philip Lassiter, an 11-time Grammy winner and former arranger for Prince. His electrifying show at Barone Fortress in Šibenik on July 6 promises a masterful mix of soul, funk, and brass-driven grooves, showcasing the trumpeter’s signature energy and charisma.

One of the summer’s standout moments will arrive on August 8 in Poreč, where Italian soul-jazz sensation Mario Biondi will perform live at the main town square. Known for his deep, velvety voice and captivating stage presence, Biondi’s open-air concert will be a true highlight, offering fans a chance to experience his signature sound in a breathtaking setting.

Adding a contemporary edge to the tour, legendary Dutch selector DJ Maestro will present an exclusive set that doubles as the official launch of his brand-new album Deep Trip, released on the iconic Black Hole Recordings label.

The grand finale

Will take place on August 13 at St. Michael’s Fortress in Šibenik, where the pioneering Japanese collective Kyoto Jazz Massive will close the tour with their fusion of jazz, broken beat, and soulful electronica. Set against one of Croatia’s most iconic venues, this performance promises to be an unforgettable synthesis of sound and atmosphere.
