The Zagreb scene has a new speakeasy bar located at Gajeva 10 in Zagreb. Yakuza Bar is located in the basement of the Kiyomi restaurant and officially opened its doors on February 12. This unique place to relax after dinner at Kiyomi is inspired by Asian aesthetics and tattoo art.

Behind the bar stands the owner Kiyomi, Davor Bienenfeld, and behind cocktail cards are served by a team of bartenders; Karlo Ferenčak, Ivan Leko and Denis Slivar. The cocktails are different than in Kiyomi, they are stronger and more complex, and the entire menu currently consists of 9 cocktails and two mocktails. The inspiration behind the cocktail clearly reflects Asian influences through names like Oni Negroni, Ginger Smoke, Bushido Sour, Sakura Blossomu, Ume Goblet, Shoguns Martini, Tokyo Sensu and Neon Paloma - the only non-Asian cocktail on the menu.

The visual identity of the Yakuza is unmistakably eye-catching. The central element of the interior is the striking neon logo behind the bar, while the walls painted with Japanese motifs add an extra dose of authenticity. The dark ambience creates an intimate atmosphere, making Yakuza a bar where it's easy to get lost in good company.

In addition to cocktails, Yakuza offers an outstanding selection of strong drinks, including premium mezcals and tequilas, and also offers rare rums such as the exclusive Japanese Nine Leaves Last Drops. Soon, guests will be able to enjoy selected snacks, designed by chef Vid Nikolić.

In addition to being visually impressive, the bar is also conceptually well thought out. Every detail, from the decor to the offerings, has been designed to provide a top-notch experience for guests who appreciate aesthetics and quality. In addition to the exceptional beverage selection, attention has also been paid to the atmosphere. Music, lighting, and acoustics have been adapted to create a pleasant and elegant ambiance.

Yakuza Bar is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
