Marnaut: A Croatian diving watch that you can now try out in person

Love for watches often begins with a glance, that first curious one. If you are attracted to clean lines, subtle robustness and a design with a story, it is quite possible that you have already heard of Marnaut.

Marnaut: A Croatian diving watch that you can now try out live in Zagreb

This Croatian brand was founded by Mario Jutronić in 2018, inspired by the beauty of the Adriatic and classic diving watches from the last century. What really sets Marnaut apart is the original dial, rich in texture and inspired by the exoskeleton of sea urchins. The watches are not only aesthetically striking but also functional, with excellent readability underwater.

Marnaut has focused on quality from the beginning. They use Swiss mechanisms, sapphire glass, water-resistant cases from 100 to up to 300 meters, depending on the model and precise manufacturing in Germany. It all sounds great on paper, but the real delight comes only when you put the watch on your hand.

The latest and most exciting news is that Marnaut has opened its first showroom in Zagreb. It is located in the very center, at the address Nikola Tomašića 3, and opened its doors at the end of April 2025, with music, drinks and a prize draw. Although you can still buy watches online, you can now see them in person as well, try on models like the Dark Surge 300, Seascape 200 or Safe Harbour 100, feel the texture of the dial and see how the case changes its shine in natural light.

The space is decorated with a lot of attention, just like the watches themselves. Arrival is possible with prior notice via the official website, so there is no crowd or pressure. Just you, the watch and the story behind it.

If you've ever wanted a micro brand that doesn't feel like a compromise, Marnaut might be a pleasant surprise. Now you can see it in person.
