On a warm evening in the heart of Zagreb, Kontesa - Jazz Club & Cabaret has become a top destination for cigar lovers. This exclusive event, held at the end of June 2024, brought together aficionados to celebrate their shared passion for fine cigars. The atmosphere was electric, filled with the rich aromas of premium tobacco and the lively buzz of conversation between friends, old and new.
The Humidor, a premium cigar shop from Zagreb that has now become established when it comes to the selection of cigars and exclusive alcoholic beverages, surpassed itself with this year's event. In a beautifully decorated setting, the guests were treated to an evening that was as sophisticated with the Cubismo band providing good entertainment. The night started with a warm welcome from the hosts, who made sure that every guest felt like a VIP.

At the center of the event were, of course, cigars. The Humidor prepared an impressive selection of 5 premium cigars for each guest, and among them were names like Artista and AJ Fernandez. Among the participants were even key names behind these prestigious cigars such as Ram Rodriguez of Artista Cigar, and Steven Kron and Freddy Molina of AJ Fernandez.

The star of the evening was definitely Cognac Frapin XO, a cognac that is distilled over the lees and aged in humid cellars, which brings a balance with notes of vanilla and aromas of spices, dried fruit and oak.
During the evening, guest had the opportunity to speak with industry experts and learn more about the art of cigar rolling and the intricacies of aging and preserving cigars. Guests definitely left with practical knowledge to improve their own smoking experiences.
